JSHS Students Selected as 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars
On May 9th, the U.S. Department of Education announced the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars. Each year, up to 161 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the Nation’s highest honors for high school students. The Scholars represent excellence in education and the promise of greatness in young people. Several JSHS alumni have been recognized as U.S. Presidential Scholars for this year.
Ryan He (Illinois JSHS), Joshua Martoma (Florida JSHS), Lauren Shen (West Virginia JSHS), Kosha Upadhyay (Washington JSHS), Grace Wandler (Intermountain JSHS), and Sriya Yalamanchili (Virginia JSHS) were nominated by JSHS for this distinction. Additionally, JSHS alumni Deetya Nagri (New England Northern JSHS) and Meghna Pramoda (Puerto Rico JSHS) have been recognized as 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars. JSHS congratulates these 8 program alumni for this incredible achievement!
